Community Resources

Many agencies listed in this section continue to modify the scope and/or delivery method of their services during the continued safety protocols surrounding COVID-19. This might result in reduction of some services or hours of operation, but many providers offer alternative methods such as assistance by phone, video sessions, etc., to serve clients. Please use the links or phone numbers in the agency descriptions to confirm how services are being delivered, if they are accepting new clients, etc.

In addition to services listed in the Youth and Young Adult section below, students enrolled in high school or college can check their school's website, talk with the school nurse, or check out the student health center to see what counseling services are available and how to access them.

United Way of Greater St. Louis maintains a large database of non-profit agencies that provide basic needs, social services, and diverse programs in the greater St. Louis area. During normal business hours, talk with a United Way Referral Specialist by dialing 211, or search the United Way 211 online database 24/7.
