Neurological Conditions

Psychiatric Care and Research Center is recruiting study participants from the O'Fallon, MO, area who:

  • are between the ages of 50 and 90
  • have a diagnosis of probable Alzheimer's dementia
  • have moderate-to-severe agitation that interferes with daily life
  • have a reliable caregiver who is able to comply with all study procedures

The study evaluates an investigational medication for agitation associated with Alzheimer's dementia. If this sounds like someone you love or to whom you are a caregiver, visit www.aspecttrial.com or call 636-244-3593 to learn more.

Midwest Research Group/St. Charles Psychiatric Associates is conducting a clinical trial of medication for children and adolescents, ages 5 through 17, who are diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. This study focuses on decreasing the core symptoms of motor and phonic tics issues.  The study lasts approximately 16 weeks, with an option of enrolling into an extension study for continued treatment. The investigational medication is NOT an antipsychotic, as the goal is to target core symptoms instead of treating the tics.

Participants in this study may receive study medication or placebo, physician consultation, travel expenses and compensation for their time.  No insurance required.
